Buena Park, CA - April 2013... Goby Labs, dedicated to bold innovation in the areas of musical instrument accessory products, is pleased to announce the introduction of the Goby Labs Thingy Series, which consists of the Goby Labs Guitar-hook Thingy and the Stand-top Thingy for iPad. These new accessories represent innovative, portable, and simple solutions to common everyday challenges musicians routinely encounter while gigging.

The Goby Labs Guitar-hook Thingy is an unbelievably useful accessory for the performing guitarist that can comfortably reside in most electric guitar cases during transport. It enables one to attach a guitar hook to most tripod microphone stands. Featuring a patent-pending pole grip that forms a closed loop around most mic stands, the new Guitar-hook Thingy relies on the strength and leverage of the microphone stand to which it is attached. With the ability to support the weight of most electric guitars, it pairs perfectly with a Goby Labs Microphone Stand-thanks to the stand's unparalleled construction and strength. With the Goby Labs Guitar-hook Thingy, guitarists can hang their guitar to take a drink before the next song or use it to quickly and easily change guitars in the heat of performance.

Be it lyrics, chord changes, or merely a set list, the Goby Labs Stand-top Thingy for iPad represents another fresh product idea. Derived from our popular GBX-300 Tablet Frame for iPad, the new Stand-top Thingy features a compact stand adaptor instead of the Goby Labs pole grip for portability and simplicity. Designed to fit both US- and European-style microphone stands, it provides the ability to attach the iPad directly to any microphone stand-turning that stand into an electronic tablet-driven music stand. The new Goby Labs Stand-top Thingy for iPad utilizes a thumb-release ball joint that enables precise placement of the iPad screen and is compatible with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation iPad tablets.

As the madmen behind the new Goby Labs Guitar-hook Thingy and the Stand-top Thingy for iPad prefer to remain in seclusion, Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jonathan Pusey, elected to comment on the new Goby Labs offerings. "Sometimes simplicity is the best solution," says Pusey. "Goby Labs Thingy Series epitomizes this train of thought. The Guitar-hook Thingy gives space-challenged guitarists a robust solution for keeping their axes readily available, while the Stand-top Thingy for iPad turns any mic stand into an electronic sheet music solution. Both items, though simple, are valuable, portable solutions for gigging musicians. I'm confident they'll be very well received."

The Goby Labs Thingy Series are slated available now. MSRP for each product is as follows:

Buena Park, CA - April 2013... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kyle Lassegard to the position of Web Marketing Manager. With a background that encompasses the past two years overseeing Hosa's marketing communications activities, Lassegard is also well versed in studio recording, information technology, and sales-making him an ideal fit for this newly created position. He will continue to be stationed at Hosa's headquarters in Buena Park. Lassegard‘s new position commenced January 2013.

As Hosa Technology‘s new Web Marketing Manager, Lassegard oversees a number of crucial and highly visible operations for the company. He now develops and executes all online marketing plans and programs, including website development and utilization-coordinating Hosa's online marketing efforts with the company's print and other traditional marketing programs. This involves directing the company's graphic artists, writers, and web developers in all aspects of Hosa's website. Similarly, Lassegard assists the company's sales management in working with its strategic partners to ensure Hosa's brands are fully and properly represented on their websites. In collaboration with marketing management, Lassegard plans and oversees those advertising and promotion activities that are specifically linked to the company's web presence and he communicates with outside advertising agencies on all ongoing promotional campaigns, traditional as well as online, including assistance with ad contracts and placement.

Lassegard's background covers a wide range of experiences that make him ideally suited to his new position at Hosa. He served as an IT Specialist at Torrance, CA-based Medical IT Solutions. In that position, he set up and maintained all client systems, including servers, networks, and workstations and worked directly with clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Prior to this, Lassegard was an Audio & Imaging Specialist at Fortuna Classical Music in San Diego, CA where he performed music and dialogue editing while constructing audio podcasts for advertising campaigns. As a recording engineer, he has produced, recorded, and edited numerous independent artists and performances in preparation for the distribution of online content.

Lassegard commented on his new role with Hosa Technology, "These past few years have been terrific for me. I am very fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity to learn Hosa's business from a variety of perspectives and this experience has prepared me to further assume the responsibilities that entail the company's online initiatives. I have always had a passion for music and audio and, with my interest in web technology and its potential for online marketing, I feel as though this opportunity represents the best of both worlds. I look forward to further contributing to Hosa's continuing growth."

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, echoed Lassegard's enthusiasm. "From day one, Kyle has demonstrated a unique combination of marketing savvy and enthusiasm that is contagious," says Pusey. "Kyle is a self-starter who knows how to take the ball and run with it. He's already contributed to this company's growth in numerous ways and I'm absolutely confident he will excel in this new capacity. All of us at Hosa are very happy to have him as a vital contributor to our team."

Buena Park, CA - April 2013... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and audio/video professional, is pleased to announce the introduction of the PWL-400 Series Power Extension Cords. Equipped with IEC C14 to IEC C13 connectors, the PWL-400 is the ideal accessory for daisy-chaining multiple units off a single power receptacle or for extending the reach of a power cord. The new Hosa PWL-400 is the perfect complement to lighting effects, guitar amplifiers, audio interfaces, wireless audio receivers, and similar equipment.

Many types of equipment-such as lighting effects units used by DJ's and Houses of Worship-are outfitted with both IEC In and Out jacks for the purpose of daisy-chaining these devices off a single power outlet. Long length cables on stage frequently create an unsightly mess, but the PWL-400 extension cord eliminates this situation. This cable is designed to connect an electrical device equipped with a C13 outlet to one with a C14 inlet. With extension cord lengths as short as 1.5 feet, a stack of lighting effects, for example, can be daisy-chained together, with all cables safely out of view.

Most devices commonly used in our industry-from lighting to audio to data-require an IEC C13 power connector. When the cable supplied by the equipment manufacturer is simply too short to reach the wall outlet, the new Hosa PWL-400 extension cord provides the valuable extra length necessary to reach it-without having to sacrifice the equipment's preferred placement. A guitarist, for example, may find the ideal placement for his amplifier to be short of reaching the wall receptacle. By connecting the Hosa PWL-400 into the IEC connector on the back of the amplifier, the power cord supplied with the amplifier can now be connected into the PWL-400 and from there, into the wall.

Hosa's new PWL-400 Series Power Extension Cords utilize 14 AWG (American Wire Gauge) Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors for increased current flow-ensuring optimum performance for the connected equipment. Additionally, these power extension cords incorporate a black PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) jacket for durability and low on-stage visibility.

Jose Gonzalez, Hosa Technology's Product Manager, commented on the new PWL-400 Power Extension Cord. "The new PWL-400 is one of those items no DJ, electronic musician, audio, or lighting professional should be without. With the cord's ability to be used both for daisy-chaining multiple devices together or for extending the reach of an individual unit, the new PWL-400 Power Extension Cords are ideal for a wide range of professional stage applications. For those professionals working in the music, sound, and lighting segments of our industry, the PWL-400 is a ‘must have' accessory item."

Buena Park, CA - March 2013... Goby Labs, dedicated to bold innovation in the areas of musical instrument accessory products, is pleased to announce the introduction of the GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand. The new GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand is the result of painstaking research with real guitarists-we checked their fingers for calluses-to determine the features they must see in a stand before allowing it the honor of holding their most important musical treasure. Featuring adjustable leg and body supports and over-molded rubber contact surfaces among its most notable characteristics, this new Universal Guitar Stand exhibits robust metal construction and is designed to travel well.

The new Goby Labs GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand features over-molded rubber surfaces designed to prevent abrasion to one's guitar and protect the neck. This thoughtful attribute is specifically engineered to protect the guitar's finish and marks a dramatic improvement over neoprene foam, which is commonly used for those points that make contact with the instrument.

The GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand provides full-cradle guitar retention. This innovative guitar stand incorporates a lock-open/spring-closed mechanism that provides the choice of quick access needed during performances and full security during storage plus an easy-to-use, dynamic head catch, which slides vertically to accommodate guitars of various lengths. The stand's adjustable height accommodates most guitars and, with its thoughtfully designed body support, alleviates neck pull. Equally important, the stand's seemingly simple, yet sophisticated design is extremely robust and assures superior field serviceability. With quality metal construction, the stand collapses easily for both storage and travel.

Like most evil geniuses, the creative minds of Goby Labs prefer to remain in mystery and seclusion. Instead, they turn to Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jonathan Pusey, for all public statements. Pusey commented on the new Goby Labs GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand, "Goby Labs' new Universal Guitar Stand is among the finest inventions yet from those engineering madmen, from whom we prefer to shield the public. With a wealth of innovative features-from its over-molded rubber head-catch with push-button, spring-closed mechanism, which keeps a guitar safely upright without putting stress on its neck, to its body supports that cradle an instrument as safely and securely as a new pair of leather pants cradle one's buttocks-the new GBU-300 represents cutting-edge design that differentiates it from the many cookie-cutter style stands found elsewhere on the market. I'm absolutely confident guitarists everywhere will find much to like about this new guitar stand."

The Goby Labs GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand is available now. The product's MSRP is $65.95.

Buena Park, CA - February 2013... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and audio/video professional, is pleased to announce the company is now shipping the USB-200FB Series High Speed USB Cables with Pivoting A Connector. Ideal for DJ's, musicians, and audio professionals who find themselves having to make connections to an elevated laptop computer and related equipment in cramped quarters, the USB-200FB USB cables offer a unique pivoting connector designed to conserve valuable space in tight surroundings.

Available in 3-, 6-, and 10-foot lengths (USB-203FB, USB-206FB, and USB-210FB), the new USB-200FB USB cables feature a pivoting Type A connector-the end that typically connects to a computer-that can be set to either straight or right angle positions. This enables one to use the cable in its straight orientation when space permits and in a right angle position in cramped quarters. In its right angle position, the computer would typically be placed on an elevated laptop stand (so the cable can hang off the side) or at the edge of the work surface. For DJ's, whose production rig commonly consists of a laptop computer, mixer, turntables, and a digital controller, the new USB-200FB USB cables can be a valuable means of making connections in an environment where space is frequently limited.

To ensure interoperability with a wide range of USB peripherals, the new Hosa USB-200FB USB cables are fully compliant with the USB 2.0 serial bus interface standard and are backward compatible with the USB 1.1 standard. Equally notable, these cables support burst data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. These cables are an excellent choice for connecting an audio interface, USB microphone or instrument, or most computer peripherals to a PC.

Jose Gonzalez, Hosa Technology's Product Manager, commented on the new USB-200FB USB Series cables, "The new Hosa USB-200FB USB cables provide DJ's, musicians, and others with a valuable means of making equipment connections in the cramped spaces they frequently find themselves working in. At Hosa, we've been providing the cables musicians and audio pros require for over two decades, and these new USB products address a common challenge we've all encountered at one time or another. All three cable lengths feature our unique connector pivot design, exhibit superior workmanship throughout, and carry pricing that is comparable to most common USB cables lacking these features. I'm certain these new USB cables will be well received by our industry."

Buena Park, CA - January 2013... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician, is pleased to announce that Asia Pacific Music Marketing (APMM), its recently acquired representation for the Asia Pacific region, has been given responsibility for additional territories based upon its exceptional performance. The company, which commenced representing Hosa Technology in June 2012 throughout East and Southeast Asia (minus Japan), did such an exceptional job that Hosa has now expanded APMM's reach to include Australia and Oceania (a region centered on the islands of the tropical Pacific Ocean).

With offices in Hong Kong, Australia, and the USA, Asia Pacific Music Marketing is an international manufacturers' representative firm, specializing in the music products industry. APMM represents manufacturers of musical instruments, professional audio, music software, sound recording, broadcast, and music technology products.

Michael Adams, APMM's US-based company Director, reflected on the company's recent change of responsibilities for Hosa, "Roy [Adams, co-director of APMM] and I are delighted to be working with Hosa Technology. This is a brand that has been on our radar for many years and we are eager to help Hosa fulfill its potential throughout the Asia Pacific region. The quality of manufacturing and the breadth of the product range within Hosa Technology is just stunning. We believe that Hosa and their related products (Beatport co-branded products, CAIG, Goby Labs, Mogan Microphones, and Zaolla Silverline) will become an integral part of our business and also the distributors that we align with this brand. We are extremely pleased to be expanding our relationship with Hosa."

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is equally enthusiastic about the expansion of APMM's role. "Hosa Technology had been looking for a performance-proven partner for this all-important territory to provide the reach and knowledge required to service our extensive product lines," states Pusey, "and APMM delivered the goods in a big way. Expanding APMM's territory means Hosa Technology now has the capability-thanks to their extensive knowledge of these regions-to successfully penetrate these vitally important markets, now including Australia and Oceania. We are delighted to be working with the entire APMM team."

Buena Park, CA - August 2012... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and distributor of Goby Labs instrument care and accessory products, is pleased to announce the Goby Labs stands and accessories for musicians are now shipping. Incorporating ‘ruggedized' metal construction designed for years of use, Goby Labs' new product line includes two microphone stands, a keyboard stand, a guitar stand, and a Tablet Frame for iPad®-all designed to aid musicians with everyday performing and rehearsal tasks.

World-class design and superior build quality are hallmarks of the new Goby Labs stands. Designed in the U.S. after extensive interviews with musicians from a wide range of performance and studio environments, these stands feature robust metal construction and components designed and manufactured exclusively for Goby Labs stands.

Microphone and Short Microphone Stands with Boom

Featuring die-cast components, including thick-walled, zinc alloy handles and metal-on-metal threaded components, the GBM-300 Mic Stand with Boom and the GBD-300 Short Mic Stand with Boom re-define durability. The center-mass boom design features a mid-point, all-metal, locking grip for enhanced boom balance and an easy-to-turn pivot lock with integrated cord retention. The metal base incorporates a ‘stomp tube' that enables it to be stood upon without bending the legs or breaking the stand. These stands also feature an ultra-heavy, center-locking, vertical handle for added stability and the appearance of clean lines on stage.

X-Frame Keyboard Stand

The Goby Labs GBK-300 X-Frame Keyboard Stand features high-strength geometry, including Z-shaped down tubes that form a truss shape to withstand greater vertical pressure. For added stability, the truss form ends directly under the keyboard edge-where the performer applies most of his or her weight. The GBK-300's tube construction is 40% stronger than conventional boxed-steel designs. Stamped bearing surfaces are spot welded to the frame and the stand is assembled with bolts and nuts rather than rivets or clamps for durability and field serviceability. The stand utilizes an easy-pull, fully locking adjustment system, has self-leveling feet for uneven floors, and cord retention for most commonly used cables.

A-Frame Guitar Stand

The Goby Labs GBA-300 A-Frame Guitar Stand offers the modern guitarist a durable, rock-solid means of securely holding one's valuable instruments. The GBA-300 A-Frame stand utilizes a fully locking open- and closed-position leg engagement. With a stance that is 60 mm longer than that of most competing products-thus reducing the chance of tipping-this stand features a large diameter, 8 mm, mandrel bent steel rod frame. The stand fits dreadnaught acoustic through most electric guitars and features over-molded, metal-core, rubber feet for exceptional stability.

The GBX-300 Tablet Frame for iPad

Featuring universal iPad compatibility (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), the GBX-300 Tablet Frame for iPad featuring ‘frame-change' technology holds any iPad on all four sides for extra security. With its patent-pending pole lock that facilitates support on mic stands, music stands, and other tubular surfaces, the system features a counter-locking arm that engages as the clamp is tightened on a pole-forming a closed loop around the pole for added strength. This innovative design applies more force to the pole as opposed to open-sided designs. The GBX-300 Tablet Frame is a great tool for electronic sheet music, lyric support, and performance notes. Low-cost frame-change kits will be made available for new tablets so the Tablet Frame hardware will never become obsolete.

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Director of Sales and Marketing, commented on the new Goby Labs stands, "The moment you see these stands, it becomes clear that not only are these the most rugged, durable stands widely available, their cutting-edge design inspires confidence that one's instrument, microphone, or iPad will be held securely. With full-metal construction and components that are manufactured specifically for these products, Goby Labs stands represent the state-of-the-art when it comes to products of this nature. I'm confident many musicians, vocalists, and others will be very impressed."

The Goby Labs stands are in stock and available now. MSRP is as follows:

Buena Park, CA - August 2012... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician, is pleased to announce that a significant upgrade of the company's popular Elite Series microphone cables is now shipping. Available with Neutrik XX-Series connectors plus a new nylon webbing over the cable's PVC jacket, the Elite Series takes advantage of the latest technological advances and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to deliver performance attributes that are every bit on par-if not superior to-more costly boutique cables.

Available in both Lo-Z (XLR3F to XLR3M) and Hi-Z (XLR3F to ¼ inch TS) configurations, the cable used in the Hosa Elite Series is a vitally important contributor to overall audio performance. These cables use 20 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors that reduce resistance in order to facilitate maximum signal transfer. Polyethylene dielectrics reduce capacitance for crystal-clear high-frequency transmission while conductive PVC reduces handling noise. Further, a 95% OFC braided shield is employed for noise-free signal transmission. Take all this and complete it with nylon webbing over the cable's PVC jacket, which is cut- and abrasion-resistant for a lifetime of trouble-free use, and the end result is a cable audio professionals can place their trust in.

A clean, reliable connection to one's mic preamplifier or console input is of paramount concern for any audio engineer or recording enthusiast, and the Hosa Elite Series microphone cable cuts no corners in this regard. The Neutrik XX-Series connectors employ gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance and superior signal transfer and utilize a zinc die-cast housing for rock-solid reliability. With a polyurethane gland to prevent cable kinking for longer cable life and chuck-type strain relief for maximum cable retention combined with a sleek, ergonomic design for easy handling, these connectors deliver the ideal blend of performance and long-term reliability.

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, commented on the second-generation Elite Series microphone cables. "These second generation Elite Series cables offer exceptional audio performance and have been field tested for maximum reliability," said Pusey. "With a rich feature set and a highly competitive price, we are extremely optimistic that this product line will find favor with a wide range of customers. The Elite Series has always been an exceptional product and now, with the addition of Neutrik connectors and abrasion-resistant nylon webbing for a lifetime of dynamic, noise-free sound quality, I'm confident these mic cables offer the best possible combination of performance and value."

The Hosa Elite Series microphone cables are available in lengths from 3 to 100 feet and carry MSRP pricing that ranges from $42.75 - $203.55. The Elite Series is in stock and available now.

They support burst data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, are compliant with the USB 2.0 serial bus interface standard, provide backward compatibility with all USB 1.1 interfaces, and are jacketed in the distinctive Beatport green for easy cable-type identification.

The Beatport DJ Series Stereo RCA Interconnects are typically used to connect the audio I/O of DJ mixers, turntables, CDJs, and select DJ controllers. The balanced 1/4 inch Interconnects (TRS) are used to connect the output of audio interfaces and select DJ mixers to studio monitors. These analog interconnect products feature proprietary Rean® connectors by Neutrik AG. Connectors employ gold-plated contacts for superior signal transfer, zinc die-cast housing for rock-solid reliability, an attractive quadrangle design for ergonomic handling in tight jack spaces, chuck-type strain relief for maximum cable retention, and rubber boot kink protection for long cable life. Cables employ 24 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors for enhanced signal clarity and 90% OFC spiral shields for a higher signal to noise ratio. TRS cables are jacketed in the distinctive Beatport blue while RCA-type cables are white.

The Beatport DJ Series USB 2.0 Hubs are used to connect multiple devices such as external hard drives and DJ controllers to a single computer USB port. They are powered via USB and are compact enough to work and travel with a DJ rig. This USB 2.0 four-port Hub provides backward compatibility with all USB 1.1 interfaces and meets USB 2.0 specifications for data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps.

Richard Ngo-Tran, Director of Business Development at Beatport, commented on the new Hosa Technology - Beatport partnership, "Beatport has built a brand that nurtures and cultivates the DJ/producer culture and, so, we're always looking for opportunities to advance this dynamic movement. By partnering with an industry-leading brand like Hosa, we're able to further extend our reach to the DJ community."

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, shares Ngo-Tran's enthusiasm. "During the past 3-5 years, the DJ segment has been the fastest and most stable growth category in all of MI," notes Pusey. "Beatport currently services 2.2 million DJs, 15,000 record labels, and has access to more than a billion fans. With these types of numbers and the growing acceptance of the performing DJ, we believe the time is ripe to further our involvement in this segment of the music market. With our new Hosa - Beatport partnership and the resulting Beatport DJ Series product line, I'm confident we can make a significant contribution to the DJ community by providing superior connectivity products that properly address the unique requirements of this market segment."

Buena Park, CA - April 2012... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and audio/video professional, is pleased to announce the introduction of the CBT-500 Cable Tester. Designed to quickly and easily check a variety of cable types, the new CBT-500 Cable Tester enables one to verify the integrity of a cable before interconnecting equipment. The CBT-500 makes an invaluable addition to one's ‘tools of the trade' and is ideal for use when preparing for a concert, a studio recording session, or an installation as well as checking cables afterwards in order to ensure working operation the next time.

The new CBT-500 Cable Tester makes testing a wide range of cables commonly encountered in the music / pro audio environment a snap. The compact, handheld unit is capable of testing the following cable terminations:

• XLR (3-pin and 5-pin)
• Balanced and unbalanced phone (standard guitar-type cable)
• Phono (RCA)
• speakON® (with support for 2-pole, 4-pole, and 8-pole connectors)
• DIN (multi-pin, including 5-pin DIN commonly used for MIDI equipment)
• Ethernet (RJ-45)
• USB Type A to Type B (standard USB to the square USB connector found on most audio interfaces)

In addition to providing the necessary connectors to test the various cable types, the Hosa CBT-500 Cable Tester is also easy to use, consisting of a front panel rotary knob and two rows of 8 LEDs-one row amber colored, the other row green. These LED's facilitate easy checking of the individual pins found in any of the supported cable types. The rotary knob enables one to switch from one pin to the next. As an example, by connecting both ends of an XLR cable to the unit, one can systematically check pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and pin 3 to pin 3. If both LEDs illuminate, the connection is passing signal. If not, the connection is broken.

The new CBT-500 is also equipped with removable leads-commonly referred to as test probes-to verify the continuity of additional connectors and jacks. This capability is particularly convenient when making cable repairs, as it enables one to check the actual replacement connector.

The Hosa CBT-500 Cable Tester is constructed of metal to withstand field abuse and operates with a standard 9-volt battery (included). The device also provides a battery check function to ensure proper working condition prior to use.

Jose Gonzalez, Hosa Technology's Product Manager, commented on the new CBT-500 Cable Tester, "The CBT-500 is an incredibly versatile and capable tool that no electronic musician or audio professional should be without. With support for most connector types that one is likely to encounter, this rugged, handheld tester makes it easy to know whether a particular cable or connector will pass signal-before it becomes a problem in the field. With the included test probes, continuity testing of additional connectors, jacks, or bare wire is equally quick and easy. I'm confident our new cable tester will help people avoid signal transmission failures in their work."

The new Hosa CBT-500 Cable Tester carries an MSRP of $69.95. The unit is expected to be available May 2012.

Buena Park, CA - April 2012... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician, is pleased to introduce a significant upgrade of the company's popular Elite Series microphone cables. Now available with Neutrik XX-Series connectors plus a new nylon webbing over the cable's PVC jacket, the Elite Series takes advantage of the latest technological advances and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to deliver performance attributes that are every bit on par-if not superior to-more costly boutique cables.

The Elite Series is slated to become available late Q2, 2012.

Buena Park, CA - February 2012... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and distributor of Goby Labs instrument care and accessory products, is pleased to announce the introduction of a new product line by Goby Labs: stands for musicians. Incorporating ‘ruggedized' metal construction designed for years of use, Goby Labs' new product line includes two microphone stands, a keyboard stand, two guitar stands, and a Tablet Frame for iPad®-all designed to aid musicians with everyday performing and rehearsal tasks.

A-Frame and Universal Guitar Stands

The Goby Labs GBA-300 A-Frame and GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stands offer the modern guitarist two durable, rock-solid means of securely holding one's valuable instruments. The Goby Labs GBU-300 Universal Guitar Stand incorporates a lock-open/spring-closed mechanism for performance and storage respectively, over-molded rubber touch surfaces that prevent abrasion and protect the instrument's finish (compared to neoprene foam found on competing models), and full-cradle guitar retention. The head catch slides vertically to accommodate guitar necks of various lengths and full guitar-body support alleviates pull on the guitar neck. Both models fit dreadnaught acoustic through most electric guitars and feature over-molded, metal-core, rubber feet for exceptional stability.

The GBX-300 Tablet Frame for iPad

Featuring universal iPad compatibility (both 1st and 2nd generation), the GBX-300 Tablet Frame for iPad featuring ‘frame-change' technology holds any iPad on all four sides for extra security.

The Goby Labs stands are expected to be available Q2 of 2012. MSRP is as follows:

Los Angeles, CA - October 2011... Ask any audio professional about a cable's impact on sound quality and you'll inevitably be told one's choice of cable is not the place to save a few bucks. Such is the case for Willie Basse. Best known as the former frontman of the legendary Los Angeles based rock band Black Sheep, Basse is a multitalented vocalist/bassist, audio engineer and producer, artist manager, studio owner, and actor. Whether on stage or in the studio, Basse never cuts corners when it comes to his cables, and that's precisely why he insists on using Zaolla Silverline Artist 500 guitar cables with his instrument and Zaolla Silverline microphone cables in his studio.

Break Away-released in 2010 on the New Empire Media label-is the title of Basse's most recent single, which features Dokken/Lynch Mob guitarist George Lynch and Scorpions drummer James Kottak. As a solo artist, Basse is very particular about his sound and, for the past 3+ years, has relied on Zaolla Silverline cables. He discussed what led him to Zaolla Silverline.

"I've spent three quarters of my life dedicated to achieving a better sound," Basse explained. "Over the years, I've conducted numerous cable and connector ‘shootouts' and I consistently prefer the sound I hear with Zaolla Silverline. I really like the Artist 500 guitar cables. The cable's solid silver core makes for a much better signal conductor. I first learned about solid-core silver from Doug Sax and Stephen Haselton from the old Mastering Lab in Hollywood and when I listened, I was sold. The Artist 500 is, by far, the most accurate cable available in terms of sound quality. This cable delivers a clean, clear, punchy representation of the sound. These cables enable me to hear exactly what my ears are hearing when I'm standing in the room with the instruments."

"I'm equally impressed with the plugs on the ends of these cables," says Basse. "Everything about the Artist 500 is top notch. The build quality, the way they wrap, and the way they lay flat on stage. I've had my Zaolla Silverline cables for a good 3-4 years and they simply get the job done better than any other brand I've tried."

Zaolla Silverline Artist 500 guitar cables use silver-core plugs by G&H Industries. Being 99.99% pure silver to increase conductivity and improve sonic responsiveness, these plugs are the only ones on the market with solid-silver core connections-making them the ideal complement to Zaolla Silverline's cable.

Basse is equally fond of his Zaolla Silverline microphone cables. "These mic cables are clearer than any other cable brand I've experienced," Basse reports. "From the microphone to the mic preamp and on to the channel input, I use my Zaolla Silverline cables all the time. Cables are a critical element in the studio that can't be overlooked. Zaolla Silverline is as accurate and true to the source as you can find. With these cables, I know exactly what I'm getting when it comes to the sound."

In addition to their superior sound and build quality, Basse was equally complimentary of Zaolla Silverline's customer / technical support services. "On my last tour I was opening for Steven Adler (drummer from Gun's N' Roses) and his new band, Adler's Appetite-we had 40 shows booked. I needed more cables and wherever I tried to buy them, the stores were out. I contacted the company and not only did they build me the cables I wanted, the company express shipped them to me. The folks at Zaolla Silverline were really on top of the situation. I was able to get the cables I needed in time, so I didn't have to stress out over the matter. They were great to deal with."

Currently, Basse is preparing for the Willie Basse Feed America-NOW tour (www.feedamerica-now.org). This will be a campaign to fund community food banks across the nation in an effort to help those people who have encountered difficulties during our nations' current economic downturn. The plan is to launch this effort right after Thanksgiving. "These are tough times for a lot of people," Basse says, "One in every four children go to sleep hungry and I really want to help change this."

Shifting his attention back to his preparation for the upcoming tour, Basse offered this closing thought, "Working with Zaolla Silverline cables has been like taking the cotton out of my ears or lifting the blanket off my head. Thanks to these cables and their excellent audio qualities, I can hear clearly and this enables me to see, or visualize, the music better in my mind. If you're looking to improve your sound, start with your cables and take a good, hard look at and listen to Zaolla Silverline."

Buena Park, CA - March 2011 ... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician, is pleased to announce the introduction of three new accessory products for JamHub®, the silent rehearsal studio. Hosa Technology is now a participant in JamHub's Made for JamHub Product Partnering Program and, as such, announces the JamHub Section Cable, the JamHub Direct Guitar Cable, and JamHub Cable Labels. These new products reduce clutter, remove the need for adaptors, and bring greater organization to using a JamHub-with the result being the freedom to focus on what really matters: one's music.

The JamHub Section Cable is an all-in-one solution enabling musicians to plug into the JamHub without the clutter and confusion of using three separate cables. Each channel is optimized for JamHub connectivity. The JamHub Section Cable is manufactured from triplex cable, which reduces tangles and fosters proper cable management. It integrates a microphone cable, a headphone cable, and a dedicated mono to stereo guitar cable that eliminates the need for an adaptor. Numbered and color-coded labels (sold separately) match each JamHub color section for easy identification.

The JamHub Direct Guitar Cable enables guitarists to connect directly to a JamHub without the signal degradation associated with using an adaptor. The stereo phone plug applies signal equally to the left and right channels. The JamHub Direct Guitar Cable uses serviceable, all-metal plugs and is ideal for touring with a JamHub. The cable employs an Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductor for enhanced signal clarity as well as a high-density OFC braided shield for superior EMI (electro-magnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference) rejection-keeping signals crystal clear.

JamHub Cable Labels enable musicians to organize their cables and coordinate them with a JamHub. They are ideal for use with Hosa's new Made for JamHub cables or with any cables that work with a JamHub. Each package includes seven labels-one for each member of the band. Easy to apply and even easier to remove, these labels are numbered and matched to the JamHub's color scheme.

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Director of Sales and Marketing, commented on the new JamHub accessory products. "JamHub has emerged as a truly innovative rehearsal tool for musicians of all proficiency levels," Pusey said. "Our three new JamHub accessories not only make connecting to the JamHub easier and more efficient, these products simplify using the system, enabling musicians to concentrate on their creative efforts rather than wrestle with technology. Manufactured with superior materials and specifically designed to match the JamHub's aesthetics, our JamHub Section Cable, JamHub Direct Guitar Cable, and JamHub Cable Labels are the ideal accessories to help musicians gain the full benefits of a JamHub. I'm confident musicians will find these products a great add-on to their systems."

Chicago, IL - March 2011... As an electronic DJ and music producer from the windy city with over 25 years in the business, Bad Boy Bill knows firsthand what it's like to spend hour after hour in the studio. An owner of several record labels that release house music, Bad Boy Bill recently released The Album, a full length CD of original music. But it doesn't stop there. This non-stop artist does what to many would seem the unthinkable: he travels the globe on weekends DJ'ing for music fans from seemingly everywhere. As of this writing, Bill was off to Europe for a gig-but he planned on being back in the studio in just a few days! With a schedule like this, there's no time to be messing around resolving cable issues. That's why, for his studio, there's only one cable that Bill knows he can count on-Zaolla Silverline.

Known as Studio 956, Bad Boy Bill's studio is outfitted with a variety of Zaolla Silverline cable products, including DB25 to XLR breakouts and balanced interconnects such as XLR, ¼ inch TRS, and XLR to ¼ inch TRS. There's also an assortment of RCA to XLR cables as well as RCA to ¼ inch TS.

"I started using Zaolla Silverline cables a few years ago when I really wanted to upgrade the sound quality in my studio," Bill reports. "I use Zaolla Silverline for every single connection in my studio, which includes DAWs, loudspeakers, a BLUE Bottle Mic, a Manley Massive Passive signal processor, as well as my Neve, Chandler, Summit, and Tube-Tech microphone preamps-and, of course, to all my vintage keyboards and gear like my Memory Moog, Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer, Studio Electronics SE-1X, etc."

While reliability is certainly important to him, Bill is adamant about sound quality and, in this regard, he says there's no substitute for Zaolla Silverline. "Zaolla Silverline cables are the best," he said, "and it shows in the sound quality I achieve as well as the build quality. In terms of sound quality, what I put in is exactly what I get out-the music sounds rich and full. What more could a guy ask for? This is why there isn't a cable in my studio that's not Zaolla Silverline. Anytime we're working in the analog world, my music gets created or processed flowing through the veins of my Zaolla Silverline cables."

Bill tells us he's never had to replace a single Zaolla Silverline cable, "I really haven't had to deal with the cables much at all because everything works beautifully right out of the box. I haven't had a single problem with a Zaolla Silverline cable. To me, that shows the durability and quality the company builds into their cables."

Before shifting his focus to the business of the day, Bill offered this parting thought, "Listen, I couldn't ask for anything more. These days, most electronic music is being done ‘in the box,' but if you're going to add anything like a vocal or a guitar or an analog keyboard to your track, I feel it's worth it to make certain you get the highest quality signal into your system as possible. You may also want to send something out from the DAW into an analog EQ or compressor for processing, and then shoot it back into your DAW; so you certainly don't want to lose any signal quality due to poor cabling. If sound quality is important to you, the investment in high quality audio cables is mandatory. I'm very happy to be a Zaolla Silverline user/endorser and would like to thank everyone at the company for making my recordings sound the absolute best they can be."

Buena Park, CA - March 2011 ... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and distributor of Goby Labs instrument care products, is pleased to announce the introduction of Goby Labs Screen Cleaner. This safe, alcohol- and ammonia-free solution cleans without dripping or streaking and is ideal for cleaning LCD, plasma, and touch screen displays. It is a must-have cleaning solution for all computer-based recording studios.

Goby Labs Screen Cleaner is formulated to lift dust, fingerprints, and other contaminants from computer monitors, television screens, and other displays as well as other sensitive plastic surfaces. The anti-static formula repels dust after cleaning. With its fresh lemon scent and the included microfiber terry cloth specifically designed to safely clean any screen, Goby Labs Screen Cleaner is the ideal studio maintenance companion for musicians, videographers, students, and virtually anyone who works with a computer.

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Director of Sales and Marketing, commented on the new Goby Labs cleaning solution. "Most recording studios-home and pro alike-are computer based," Pusey said. "Computers have screens and these screens need cleaning. If one is using a handheld device with a touch screen, the issue only compounds itself. Those of us at Hosa Technology believe musicians should be able to buy screen cleaner along with cables, strings, and other musical supplies at their local music store rather than be forced to go into a consumer electronics store for a single $10.00 item. This is not only a matter of convenience, it's a matter of hygiene-and Goby Labs Screen Cleaner is one of those everyday essentials that, we believe, should be far more accessible."

Goby Labs Screen Cleaner ships in a 2-ounce container with a microfiber terry cloth and carries a MSRP of $10.00. The product will be available Q1, 2011.

Buena Park, CA - February 2011 ... Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and distributor of Da-Cappo Micro Microphones throughout the Americas, is pleased to announce the company's highly coveted Biggest Cheese Award (Rep of the Year) has been awarded to The Peter E. Schmitt Company of Pompton Plains, NJ. The Peter E. Schmitt Company represents Hosa Technology throughout the metropolitan New York area, which includes Rockland and Westchester counties as well as New Jersey north of and including the counties of Hunterdon, Middlesex, and Monmouth.

Hosa's Biggest Cheese Award acknowledges exemplary sales and service of the company's products. A truly grand honor to which many sales organizations aspire but few actually achieve, the Biggest Cheese Award is a time-honored tradition that culminates with a pompous ceremony during which the plaque-complete with a cute little mouse-is bestowed upon the one rep firm for Finding the Most Cheese Above Goal.

In acknowledging the award, Bryan Ottens, Director of Retail Sales/E-Commerce for The Peter E. Schmitt Company, offered the following comment. "All of us at The Peter E. Schmitt Company are delighted to be receiving this recognition," Ottens said. "We realize the Biggest Cheese Award is not something that is handed out casually. It represents the highest honor and we take tremendous pride in having this award bestowed upon our entire firm. The plaque will be displayed prominently in our office and will serve as a daily reminder to all of us that hard work can, indeed, result in great achievements."

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology's Director of Sales and Marketing, was equally upbeat about The Peter E. Schmitt Company's accomplishments. "All too often, the hard work and dedication of our sales representatives gets taken for granted," notes Pusey. "This is something that should never happen. Our sales representatives are the lifeblood of our organization and we really do appreciate their efforts. On that note, we try to put a little humor and good cheer into this award as a means of recognizing the efforts of the winning firm. To us, they really are The Biggest Cheese!"

Buena Park, CA - January 2011 ... As a musician, you've definitely arrived when your credits include tours for performers such as En Vogue, R&B/Pop icons Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson, as well as high profile studio sessions with the likes of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (best known for creating Janet Jackson's pulsating grooves). Currently, he's the staff guitarist for Michael Bearden & the Ese Vatos, also known as the Lopez Tonight band. Thomas Organ-better known in music circles as Tommy "O"-is at the top of his profession. At this level, you can work with any equipment you choose and when it comes to cables, Tommy O relies on Zaolla Silverline.

Since September, Tujunga, CA-based Tommy O has been using Zaolla Silverline Artist 500 Series guitar cables for both his instrument and his effects pedal board. While he has employed the services of guitar technicians to wire his effects in the past, he prefers a more hands-on approach and enjoys tweaking his gear until every last path in the signal chain is fully optimized. He discussed those factors that most directly impact a good pedal board setup.

"I like to keep my pedal board cables as short as reasonably possible, since it dramatically helps minimize noise, hum, and other audible anomalies," Tommy explained. "When you move from one gig to another, fluctuating voltage can make a huge difference to the sound coming through the pedal board. I find that by keeping my interconnecting cable lengths as short as possible, it lessens the chance for noise and other undesirable sounds. Since I buy my Zaolla Silverline pedal board cables pre-terminated (plugs already fitted) and in 6-inch lengths, it's easy to wire the equipment together while minimizing the amount of cable in the system-and this really helps keep your signal clean and noise-free."

In the few months since he switched to Zaolla Silverline's Artist 500 Series cables, Tommy O reports his sound is better than ever and he loves the cable's build quality. "Since switching to Zaolla Silverline cable, I've experienced a very noticeable impact on my sound," he says. "It broadens my sound and gives it considerably more presence than many other cables-without coloring it. My signal is also cleaner and it's got more bite when I need it."

"As for the way the cable wraps and lies on the floor," he continued, "this too, is very impressive. A lot of cables remain pretty wrinkled up when you first unwrap them and lay them across the floor. By contrast, the Zaolla Silverline cables flatten out and lie nicely in just a few moments after unwrapping them. You have a lot less concern about tripping over them or having the cables getting caught on something by accident. It all adds up to a more confident performance."

When an artist has the performance demands of such high profile work as Tommy O, the ability to count on one's suppliers is crucial. In this regard, Tommy O had nothing but praise for Zaolla Silverline's customer/technical support services. "Everyone at Zaolla Silverline has been great to deal with," he said. "Whenever I have questions or need something, they're very responsive. They're a great company to be with. It's a pleasure to work with the Zaolla Silverline team. They really take great care of their customers and are really good about getting back to you when you have questions or need assistance. When they say they're going to do something, it gets done and you can't ask for more than that."

As he prepared to leave for his next project, Tommy O offered this parting thought about his experience with Zaolla Silverline, "I can honestly say Zaolla Silverline cable products have been the best cables I've used thus far in my career. Reliability has been excellent and I have every confidence these cables will be with me for a long time. I'm sold!"

Metal for the Masses best summarizes the band’s focus and Monster, whose musical contribution carries tons of attitude, also happens to be the band’s spokesperson. Monster recently re-wired his pedal board setup and, to ensure all was handled with the utmost expertise and the finest cable available, he took advantage of Zaolla Silverline’s custom shop and had much to say after-the-fact.

Though not necessarily common knowledge, Zaolla Silverline offers a unique service whereby artists on the company’s endorsee roster can choose to have their rigs custom wired with the company’s Artist 500 Series cables. The process, which consists of five parts: (1) system cable measurements, (2) cables built to length and specification, (3) system re-wire with new cables, (4) final system adjustments/terminations, and (5) play test, ensures the equipment in question is professionally interconnected—enabling both the artist and the equipment to perform at full throttle without the slightest hiccup.

Monster described his first Zaolla Silverline encounter and how his relationship with the company came about. “I first met Jonathan Pusey (Zaolla Silverline’s Director of Sales and Marketing) and had an opportunity to try the Zaolla Silverline cables at last year’s Bass Player Live mini-tradeshow in Los Angeles,” Monster recalls. “The moment I auditioned the cable, I fell in love with it. The sound I heard was awesome. From that point on, Jonathan and I kept in touch. When Jonathan later informed me of the company’s custom shop, I couldn’t resist. I’m running three pedal boards and the thought of re-wiring the setup myself was more than I could deal with. By contrast, the Zaolla Silverline folks are pros at this sort of thing and are well equipped to handle the project. So I thought to myself, ‘Why not take advantage of the service?’”

Beyond the initial trip to company headquarters and the return trip to actually have the system interconnected, Monster reports the entire process was extremely efficient. “The measuring of all the cables took roughly 1.5 hours,” he notes, “and the actual re-wiring of the system took about 2 hours more. Had I tried to do this myself, I would have spent a small fortune on tools; only to drive myself crazy trying to get it all done—and even then, the actual system wouldn’t be anywhere as clean and professionally assembled as it is now.”

When queried about those qualities of Zaolla Silverline cables that prompted him to wire his entire pedal board with it, Monster offered the following, “Zaolla Silverline cables are the cables that all other cables wish they could be. Since using them, my sound has become louder, cleaner, and more distinctive. They’re also built extremely tough. I’m not exactly the easiest going type of individual when I perform. They work really well and I haven’t had a single problem with them. I like to think of them as Monster-proof.”

“Since I began using the Zaolla Silverline cables on my pedal board rig,” Monster continued, “I’m getting more highs, more lows, and my sound has a much more distinctive character with far greater presence. For those who don’t think that cables make that much of a difference, I’m here to tell you they make a tremendous difference. Wow!”

As he prepared for the band’s next gig, Monster offered a few final comments. “The entire process went really well,” he said. “The Zaolla Silverline folks really understood what I was looking to accomplish. Since the job was completed, my noises—as I like to refer to them—have considerably greater strength. The brutality of my sound has gotten a lot sharper. I’d highly recommend this service to anyone looking to get their setups properly cabled together. These cables are truly 100% alien technology. Best of all, they can handle 100% of Monster’s brutality.”

To learn more about Monster and Jugulur, visit the band online at www.jugulur.com.

Buena Park, CA – May 2010… Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and owner of the Zaolla Silverline brand, recently granted distribution rights for the company’s vast range of products to two new distribution firms in the Asia Pacific region: BGW Guitars of Singapore and Hi-End Tech of Hong Kong. The agreements are expected to dramatically increase Hosa Technology’s presence throughout Asia.

Singapore-based BGW Guitars will now represent both the Hosa Technology and Zaolla Silverline brands throughout Singapore. Specializing in guitarist- and performer-oriented brands, BGW Guitars’ focus is on high-quality, value-driven products and, as such, the company is an ideal match to represent the Hosa and Zaolla Silverline brands. With Zaolla Silverline being a provider of upscale guitar cables, the new arrangement is a particularly good fit. BGW Guitars offers both retail and wholesale service to the region. The company will expand their distribution capabilities as they incorporate Hosa’s extensive lines into their line card.

Brendon Leung, BGW Guitars’ General Manager, commented on the new distribution agreement. “Hosa Technology’s products provide a wealth of connectivity options that, I expect, will serve as an invaluable complement to our existing lines,” says Leung. “By having access to every conceivable type of cable and connector, our customers can now be assured of obtaining the best possible performance from their equipment. This translates to a win-win situation for everyone involved. We are delighted to be part of Hosa’s family of distributors.”

Hong Kong-based Hi-End Tech will now be distributing the Hosa Technology and Zaolla Silverline brands. In addition to the Hong Kong market, the company’s territories include the People’s Republic of China, Macau, and Taiwan (Republic of China). With a young, fresh approach to distribution and a mind toward technology solutions, Hi-End Tech’s highly technical staff and existing product lines are a terrific match for Hosa Technology’s brands. The fact that Hi-End Tech will handle distribution throughout both the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan in addition to Hong Kong and Macau is expected to dramatically extend Hosa Technology’s reach throughout Asia.

Wilson Choi, CEO of Hi-End Tech, is enthusiastic about his firm’s new distribution agreement with Hosa, “All of us at Hi-End Tech are very happy about our new distribution and representation agreement with Hosa Technology. There is a highly complementary synergy between Hosa’s range of products and our line card. I look forward to a long and fruitful business relationship with everyone at Hosa Technology.”

Buena Park, CA – February 2010 … Zaolla Silverline, the leading innovator of cable technologies for the musical instrument and pro audio industries, is proud to introduce The Artist 500 guitar cable. In The Artist 500, Zaolla Silverline combines the legendary performance of the company's unique silver-core cable with a new plug—a silver-core version of the legendary Show Saver™ by G&H Industries. The result is a cable in which sonic transparency combines with durability to deliver a superior sounding, positively rugged cable for today’s guitarist. The Artist 500 is ideal for professional studio musicians, serious home recordists, live performers, and anyone seeking superior performance from their guitar and amplifier.

The Artist 500, like all Zaolla Silverline designs, is designed around a solid-silver center conductor. Silver, the most conductive element on earth, is 7% less resistant than copper. This substantial improvement in conductivity is manifest in every aspect of signal transmission. All else being equal, the bandwidth of a silver conductor is greater than that of a copper conductor. Thus, a silver conductor yields greater HF and LF transmission and overall signal clarity.

While it is true that silver is superior to copper as a conductor of electricity, this is not to say that silver is superior to copper in every application. Low-level analog audio signals benefit from the MF boost and "warmth" associated with copper. Thus, The Artist 500 guitar cable features a solid-silver center conductor and an enamel-coated, stranded-copper ancillary conductor in a unique hybrid configuration for the best of both worlds.

A guitar cable is only as good as its signal-to-noise ratio. Zaolla Silverline surrounds the unique hybrid conductor at the core of The Artist 500 with redundant shielding. Conductive PVC combines with a traditional copper braid to provide maximum EMI, RFI, and electrostatic rejection without the added stiffness of a second copper braid. Similarly, foamed polyethylene separates the conductor from the shield without adding stiffness.

Zaolla Silverline focuses on design as much as on materials. The unique features of The Artist 500 coexist in true coaxial cable geometry. This accounts for the unique flexibility of The Artist 500 among boutique guitar cables, many of which are secretly microphone cables terminated for use with a guitar. The Artist 500 is as much at home on the stage as it is in the studio.

The new plugs found on The Artist 500 guitar cable combine the robust design of G&H Industries’ Show Saver™ plug with the added benefit of a silver core. The straight plug has the same structure as G&H Industries’ ultra-high clarity plugs while the right-angle plug is based upon the traditional Show Saver structure. The copper core in each has been replaced with 99.99% pure silver to increase conductivity and improve sonic responsiveness. These new plugs are the only ones on the market with solid-silver tip connections. Due its low capacitance, low resistance, and high conductivity, it is the best sounding plug available and is the ideal complement to Zaolla Silverline’s cable.

Jonathan Pusey, National Marketing Manager of Zaolla Silverline, commented on The Artist 500 guitar cable, “The Artist 500 is our latest achievement in our on-going effort to build the ultimate guitar cable,” says Pusey. “The new G&H Industries silver-core plugs deliver the cable’s superior sonic performance while also adding to its overall durability. It’s the next-best thing to hardwiring one’s guitar directly to the amplifier. Gone are the days of the instrument cable as a disposable accessory. The Artist 500 is a component that must be played to be believed.”

The Artist 500 is manufactured in lengths ranging from 3 to 30 feet, with 6- and 12-inch pedal patch cables also available. US pricing ranges from $55 to $262—depending upon the cable’s length and the types of plugs (straight/right angle). The Artist 500 guitar cable is available now.

Buena Park, CA – October 2009… Hosa Technology, the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the modern musician and audio/video professional, is pleased to announce the availability of two new microphone clips—the models MHR-422 and MHR-425. Manufactured from state-of-the-art materials, the new microphone clips are all but impossible to break and, as a result, deliver years of service.

The new Hosa MHR-422 and MHR-425 microphone clips are offered in 22 mm and 25 mm diameters respectively. These two sizes will readily accept the overwhelming majority of microphones currently available. The MHR-422 is designed for use with dynamic mics while the MHR-425 is designed for wireless mics. They are threaded for US compliance and will fit atop most any microphone stand sold in the United States. Additionally, a European (EU) adapter is included. Both models are RoHS compliant.

Both microphone clips are manufactured from a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). This cutting-edge material is a physical mix of rubber and plastic and yields the benefits of each. These new microphone clips offer a more “grippy” feel than traditional clips. This attribute makes them easier to handle and they will not scratch the surface of one’s expensive microphones. Thanks to their 90 Shore A hardness, these new clips are more durable and longer lasting than plastic models. The microphone clips are all but impossible to break if the microphone stand is dropped or experiences rough handling during transport.

Jonathan Pusey, Hosa Technology’s National Marketing Manager, commented on the new Hosa MHR-422 and MHR-425 microphone clips. “Microphone clips are the Rodney Dangerfield of professional audio equipment,” says Pusey. “They get no respect until such time as they fail—then suddenly the performer has a big problem.
