He stayed with TEAC until 1984 when he launched Hosa Technology, Incorporated.
As it approaches its 25th year in business, Hosa Technology has evolved into a highly diversified organization with a comprehensive product line that addresses the requirements of professionals and enthusiasts alike. Moving well beyond its humble beginnings as a supplier of cables and adapters for musicians, Hosa Technology now offers products for musicians, tour sound professionals, the A/V contractor market, and carries a total of greater than 2000 SKU’s. In addition to Hosa-branded products, the Company has formed the upscale Zaolla Silverline brand of cable offerings, and distributes the esteemed Da-Cappo Micro Microphones line throughout the Americas, as well as CAIG instrument care products throughout North America.
Hosa’s ability to adapt to the ever-evolving market conditions has been key to its longevity. Over the years, Hosa Technology has revised the company logo and its packaging to reflect its more diversified nature. Further, the company has introduced new websites for both Hosa Technology and Zaolla Silverline (its two main brands), has introduced wall plates and related products for contractors, and has dramatically expanded its line of professional interconnects. The people who work here are like family and, without their effort and dedication, the Company’s expansion would not have been possible.
